About the studio
Fatemeh Tajaddod is a ceramic artist based in Lexington, Kentucky, holding an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Kentucky and a BA/MA in Art from the University of Tehran. Her practice centers on clay, extending into architecture, interior design, installation, and public art — a hands-on, process-driven approach that emphasizes material sensitivity, spatial awareness, and narrative. Each light is designed and handcrafted from forming and glazing to final assembly, exploring the relationship between functional objects, cultural heritage, and contemporary living.
